RAMONES participated in the webinar for “European Research and Innovation and Mission: Restore our Ocean and Waters projects takeaway” organized by the EMODnet Secretariat, Data Ingestion and thematics, in collaboration with DG MARE and CINEA on 28 Feb 2024. The webinar delved into how EMODnet supports European Research and Innovation (R&I) projects. During the webinar, the EMODnet’s effort and investment to consolidate marine knowledge in EU R&I was highlighted, while demos of the EMDOnet Data Ingestion workflow, and guidance on optimizing the collection, curation, and submission of FAIR data and metadata to EMODnet services for its vast userbase was showcased.

RAMONES Data Management Plan for FAIR data is fully aligned with the scopes of EMODnet and lots of opportunities for near-future collaboration were identified during the webinar. A big thanks to the organizers of this event and the kind invitation to our project.
