The RAMONES partners from ‘Laboratoire de Physique de Clermont Auvergne’ at CNRS-IN2P3, affiliated with the University of Clermont Auvergne in France, participated in the 6th International Conference on Radioecology & Environmental Radioactivity (ICRER 2024) in Marseille. The UCA partners presented their research on the ‘GATE MARIM’ database, which was developed for the scope of the project. This database aims to assess the radiological impact on 42 microorganisms in two different environments, internal water and external environment, taking into account a specific percentage of porosity to evaluate the water ratio.
The conference provided an excellent opportunity for scientists studying radioactivity to come together, share their latest findings, and discuss advancements in the field. It was a platform for fostering collaborations and exchanging innovative ideas in radioecology and environmental radioactivity.
