The EU H2020 RAMONES project organizes jointly with the MSc Program in “Electronics and Radioelectrology, and Control and Computing”, the MSc Program “Applied Physics” and the MSc Program “General Physics” its first Hackathon at the Department of Physics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 4th and 5th of December 2024.

Young researchers and scientists, particularly graduate students, post docs and young professionals and entrepreneurs from informatics, physics, environment, geosciences and engineering are encouraged to participate in teams of 2-3 members each in order to collaborate to produce innovative ideas.

 

The participants would challenge in:

• Visualize marine radioactivity data at a global or local scale
• Forecast radioactivity based on existing or simulated time series of data
• Forecast seismic data based on historic and online data
• Visualize environmental data from the marine environment
• Provide monitoring solutions of atmospheric and oceanic environments
• Develop solutions for Spectral Analysis for different radioactivity sensors
