The RAMONES consortium participated in the EMRA2021, the Workshop where EU-funded Projects related to Marine Robotics and Applications present their vision and results. The limitations due to the pandemic resulted in the organization of a full online event, organized by ISME, the Italian Interuniversity Center of Integrated Systems for the Marine Environment. EMRA2021 was held on 7 and 8 July 2021 and featured a dedicated session on Marine Robotics European Policy.

Prof. Antonio Pascoal (IST-ID, Lisbon), a co-organizer of the Workshop and RAMONES partner, chaired the opening session. In addition, a presentation was given by the Coordinator of RAMONES, Prof. Theo J. Mertzimekis (NKU Athens).
